After some looking around we decided to use Unique Wood Solutions to design, make and install a 3.5M long book case with cupboards and so glad we did. The customer service was great, nothing was too much trouble for the team who provided colour charts, swatches, design drawings etc. The workmanship and quality of the final product is fantastic, absolutely faultless with incredible attention to detail, just what we were looking for. Right from the start, we were extremely impressed with S&C. The day they arrived to start work on our home gym, the first thing they did was to put a protective covering over the floors they works be going over. That said a great deal from the very start. They double checked plans with us and just cracked on with the job in hand and checked with us on things as and when they came up. We now have a great little gym that’s exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend S&C, very good at what they do and really friendly and polite. We’re getting them back later in the year to do our hallway flooring.

S&C Unique Wood Solutions designed, built and installed for us a cloakroom cupboard complete with shoe storage, a vanity unit with granite top and updated our very tired utility room.  Owen and Adam offer a full design and build service.  They turn your ideas into reality and provide expert advice gained from many years in the business.  Their workmanship and customer service are second to none with nothing and I mean nothing being too much trouble.  They are the cleanest and tidiest workmen we have ever come across. ON-TIME, ON-BUDGET AND DEFINITELY WOW!

We’d been putting off our kitchen redesign for a long time, dreading the prospect of managing the project and co-ordinating the work of different tradespeople.  Then we found Owen and Adam from S & C Unique Wood Solutions.

From concept to completion, Owen and Adam managed it all.  After several meetings to discuss ideas, they came up with a plan, a price and they stuck to it.

Our previous experience of installing a kitchen was choosing something off-the-shelf and then finding someone to install it.  S & C showed us that we didn’t need something from a kitchen showroom, they could hand-build and install exactly the right kitchen for us.

Once the date was agreed everything happened on time, creating unique kitchen units by hand to our exact specifications, carefully co-ordinating the different trades needed for brickwork, plastering, plumbing and electrical.  They assembled an amazing team of tradespeople who turned up on-time while keeping disruption and mess to a minimum.

The attention to detail was incredible, right down to creating the perfect cutlery drawer for our favourite knives and utensils.

They were professional but also fun to have around.  We kind of missed them when they’d finished.

Would we recommend them?  I think you know the answer to that question.  We’ve already signed them up to for some additional work using their incredible carpentry skills.

What can I say other than look no further than these guys for whatever it is you want done! From planning they are helpful experienced and help to make your wishes come true! Installation they are so efficient respectful and clean! Kitchen was cleaner after they left than it was on arrival!! The workmanship is out of this world the finish is sublime and couldn’t be happier with finished kitchen!!!!!

Have just picked up the bespoke seats made for the back of our narrow boat the seats themselves are absolutely beautiful. But the surprise personalisation added completely makes them, so happy with how they have turned out and can’t thank the team enough.

We are absolutely in love and over the moon with it. It definitely has the Wow factor along with being practical and hard wearing. I would 100% recommend this company.

We recently had our garage boarded and converted to a usable space with cupboards and all of the walls insulated. The work that Adam and Owen did was amazing. It was better than we ever expected, we had high expectations, which it exceeded. Now we can go into our garage and store things in our loft with made to measure hatches that they designed to fit our large boxes.

Nothing was too much for them, they both were very accommodating. The work place was always left clean and tidy, in fact, the first day they worked, they had cleaned it better than we had left it.

They were both on time, every day. Sometimes we asked if things could be slightly changed and they accommodated that too.

Both Adam and Owen were polite, professional and very skilled at what they do. Communication between them was excellent too. They came out to quote and there was no hidden surprises. They adapted things to our budget too.

I even got a beautiful bouquet of flowers from them both on the last day to say thank you for using them, which I thought was a lovely touch.

S&C Unique Wood Solutions designed, built and fitted a galley-style kitchen for us. During the planning phase we had the choice of an adapted off the shelf kitchen or bespoke. We are both really pleased that we went for the bespoke option – the workmanship, fit, attention to detail and quality is outstanding. They also came up with some novel solutions to make use of every square inch of space, which was important to us given the relatively compact nature of the kitchen – we particularly liked their folding magic corner unit. Their advice during the whole process has been invaluable, based on their extensive experience, ranging from lighting to style, worktops, ovens, waste disposal, sink, tap and splash back. During the tear down they took everything in their stride, such as having to replace our existing kitchen floor which they discovered was rotten. During the whole process they were very professional, always on time, tidied up after themselves and were very patient when we couldn’t make our minds up. They also have some very good supporting contractors for worktops, splash backs, electrics, plastering and plumbing. We would happily recommend them to anyone.

We wanted to open up our ground floor living space by knocking through the wall between our kitchen and lounge and swapping the rooms’ uses. From their first visit Adam and Owen were onside with our ideas, providing positive support and pragmatic advice that gave us the confidence to develop and evolve our plans. The Covid pandemic interrupted progress but Adam and Owen kept us informed regularly regarding their ability to secure supplies and recommence work safely. Throughout, they continued to support our planning, turning sketches into detailed plans and visiting when necessary to resolve potential issues with innovative solutions. They then project managed the building work and utilities preparations for the task – always ensuring that we were informed of arrangements and happy with completion. It’s obvious that they have great contacts with quality tradesmen across the building and development spectrum and the completion of the work went without a hitch. During the kitchen installation Adam and Owen were brilliant. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is a wonder. Nothing was too much trouble; they had to deal with us and our two dogs tramping through the work area constantly, and worked specifically to limit to a minimum the time we were without kitchen facilities. Everything was clean and tidy at the end of every day. The kitchen that Adam and Owen built and installed for us is totally top quality throughout and the end product is way beyond that that we had hoped for. Above all else, Adam and Owen showed themselves to be high quality craftsmen, thoroughly trustworthy, totally honest, committed to customer satisfaction in all respects. Their reputation is well deserved and lived up to.

Owen & Adam of S&C Unique Wood Solutions have done a fabulous job of planning and fitting our new kitchen, using only top grade fixtures and fittings, and their standard of craftsmanship is incredibly high. We really are very thrilled with our new finished kitchen. Owen & Adam both seem to be very ‘can do’ people, always overcoming any problems. Their attention to detail is quite incredible making sure that all of their work is to the very highest standard. During all their time working for us, they always left the kitchen very clean and tidy. We would not hesitate to use S&C Unique Wood Solutions again, and happily recommend them to anyone. Even though our new kitchen is now finished, we have just been told by our new cooker manufacturer, that there is a manufacturing defect, and will require an engineers visit, which will entail removing the fitted cooker to fix the fault. When I told Owen, he immediately volunteered to come over at the same time as Stoves engineer, to ensure that the cooker is removed and refitted without damaging our new kitchen.
